I’ve been using blender for about a year, but i’m only using it a few times a week. I will try to keep this post updated with what i am doing as i am trying to get better at blender. i mostly do abstract art with good help from the displacement modifier, but i also follow a lot of tutorials on youtube.

Here one my first renders;

A bokeh-test-render i did with some help from one of Andrew Price’s tutorials;

And one i did following Gleb Alexandrov’s tutorial;

I also did this one as a school assignment;

And here are some renders i did from my own ideas;

After fiddling around with particles and textures, i came up with some kind of wallpaper that turned out to look all right.

nice wallpaper! although i might give some slight lighting to the not-in-light cubes, they dont look shiny enough :slight_smile:

Thanks! I will try to polish the scene a bit more to balance and adjust the lighting :slight_smile:

I have been experimenting a little with the Light Path-node the last 4 hours! Here is one of the results so far

Very clean! I really like it. It can be tough to get the white background and light everything as you have without banding. Nice job.

Still experimenting with nodes :slight_smile:

I just hate it when i make something i like, save an image, and keeps on tweaking the file. I’m seriously struggling recreating this image…

Experimenting in cycles is allways fun. Made a 4k-wallpaper for you :wink:
