I create a plane, press T, then I select the center edge, subdivide it, and instead of having 4 triangles
I get 2 triangles of 4 sizes (2 sizes in the same axis so one dont see it is actualy 2 sides)
so as I move the center vertice, I get a weird effect(especialy if the plane has a texture)
anyone knows how to solve this…? this used to work in previous version of blender
a) “I create a plane, press T…” - T toggles the left-hand tool shelf. Perhaps you meant “press Ctrl-T”?
b) “I get 2 triangles of 4 sizes…” - What does that mean? When I repeat your steps, Blender creates two quads.
c) “…as I move the center vertice” - Not to get overly anal here, but the singular of vertices is vertex, not vertice.
If you fire your W > Subdivide command, you will find the corresponding tool options in the aforementioned left-hand tool shelf. Perhaps you want to check “Quad/Tri Mode” to achieve what you want?
