Need help with a Linux build

This may sound lazy, but I need somebody to send me the source code for Blender 2.72b without the CMake stuff. Here is why:

My CMake install keeps crashing when I press the configure button, and the command line version keeps saying my compiler is “unable to compile a simple test”, but I have compiled plenty of tests in C++ and C, so I think my Linux distro has some bizarre issue with CMake. I have tried everything from reinstalling CMake to reinstalling my OS, and nothing seems to work. If I could get the Blender project with the CMake part already finished (with gcc as the compiler), I am almost certain I could make the changes I need for my work.

The alternative is for somebody to send me a link to a Blender version that can use CUDA with the compute compatibility profile at 1.0, instead of 2.0. I know how to make this work (I did it for the MacOS version). I desperately need this for my Linux machine, but cannot get it myself with my CMake issues.
