Occlusion Preprocessing

I’m pretty sure my PC only uses one core during this phase of the render. When it does the rest of the frame it uses all 12 cores. Is there any way to force the use of all the cores during occlusion preprocessing? It’s frustrating getting 8 minute render times when Blender is only using 7 percent of my CPU for most of the frame.

Short answer: I don’t think that there is.

For anyone with the same problem - I ended up opening six different version of the same file and set them all to render different frame ranges. It’s been running all night with no crashes and has significantly sped up the process.
