Possible to import a UV map from an identical yet separate mesh?

Working on a model, and the guy I’m working with uses 3Ds max, so I send him a .obj and he does the UVs and sends it back, in this case the model is already rigged, and I was unable to send that rig to him successfully with the model.

Now I have a model with a rig, and a model with UVs, I need to attach the UVs to the model with the rig to avoid rigging it myself. Is there a way to do this?
