Earlier today I upgraded from Blender 2.71 to 2.72b. When I went to work in a blender file, it wasn’t recognizing the settings I had set up for the pen and tablet that I use specifically with Blender.
Have any of you other Wacom product users ever had this problem? If so, do you have a better way to work around the issue than to have to delete the profile in the tablet settings and then starting it from scratch again?
Oooh, I found the issue. In 2.72, the Blender Application is referred to as “Blender-app”… not merely “Blender”. In the meta data (On Windows: C:\Users%user%\AppData\Roaming\WTablet*.dat), if I changed the <App1Data> file properties from blender.exe to blender-app.exe, I could have saved myself having to redo my settings… The more you know. I hope this will help someone else.
