I have recently downloaded Blender 2.71. When I try to install I receive a system error "The program can’t start because OpenColorIO.dll is missing from your computer. I have searched for a solution to fix this but am unable to find the answer. If someone has a solution it would be great. I’ve been using Blender 2.68 but was hoping to upgrade.
Have you tried installing the current version of blender ?
Also try to use the zip archive version… no installation necessary, just unzip it to the location of your choice and run the executable.
