Particles Sliding??

I have set up an emitter that kicks out particles onto an angled surface; however, the particles continue to move, even though damping is set to 1.00 on the surface.

What adjustment can I make to cause the particles to stop sliding on a “downhill” or angled surface?

Thanks for any help!

Friction on the collision surface

The damping effects the bounce of the particles
The friction is how much they stick to the surface

Hope this helps

And if they still slip {depending on angle of the slope} then you can try adjusting the ‘damp’ factor of the particle physics, or reducing the particle gravity …

Thanks so much, Martin, for the quick response! Adjusting the gravity on the particles did stop the slide. Thanks again for taking the time to help!
