I am animating some pages flipping in a newspaper, I used the first part of this tutorial as a starting point using a custom tool that deforms the pages nicely. Problem is sometimes part of the page below becomes visible, because its higher up. It was cumbersome to edit this manually so I thought I’d ask: Is there a way to keep an object always above another object?

If you’re not doing too many pages, you could put each page on its own render layer and then composite everything together in the node editor.

Thanks, dont have much experience compositing… Is the idea to hide some layers, than show them later in the animation? Or can you set one layer to show on top of the other, and then change that order?
