Problem with Wetmap

I have a problem with the wetmap of a canvas vertexcolor node/dot.

Always when i reopen my scene the connections of the wetmap data are separated.

Why this is happening?

Is this a bug?

Make sure your mesh data includes a corresponding vertex group of the correct name. Adding a dynamic paint canvas fills in default names for the vertex groups but it doesn’t actually create those groups. You need to do that yourself.
