The wings look a bit low and he looks a tad bit short, but other than that it looks excellent so far! Keep it up!

Looks great!

The mouth still, I didn’t figure it out yet
next uvs, and details sculpting

Maybe I will post some wires to check if my topology is good

P.s: ReTopology is a pain : D

I think you need work a bit more on the legs and on nail. But overall great model!

I agree about the wings, as the reference appears to attach them towards the top of the shoulders. The chest scales also seem like they could a slightly smoother transition into the surrounding skin.

Other than that, it’s a great start.

Hi,

You’re facing a common problem with 3D characters. It’s hard to give them …character

If you look at the ref and at your model, you’ll see that the reference has sharp angles, counter curves and stuff like that while subdivided 3D oftenly lead to smoothed character.

If you have a look to the industry leaders, you’ll see that the difference is mostly in these shapes, not in the bunch of details added.

I know it’s super hard to get to these things because it’s not natural… But I do recommande you to allways, even subtely, exagerate sharp angles on a character. It will give it more dynamism.
Nice work BTW
