Additional Bones do not follow on the Y axis help

I have used rigify to generate a rig for a character. I went into edit mode and added 2 bones to control the eyes. Those are parented to the head bone, both are in blue below.

Upon rotating the head bone specifically on the Y axis, you can see that the eye bone controllers are not in line with the pupils.

I can not seem to figure this out. I’ve tried different constraints, different parenting methods and nothing. Searching online does not bring me results either. Does anyone know of a solution?

-Thanks!

[SOLVED, I had to parent the Eye bones to the “DEF-head” bone rather than just the “head” bone.]

I can’t say for sure what’s up with your Setup… you may have to post a file for us to see…

however… I hightly recomend these two Eye Rigg videos…

This guy really knows his stuff

Here’s a link to my .blend file with just the rig. https://mega.co.nz/#!AodnUJbZ!BJJkl9de_NH7EphDA7ePyxjrNB4awlHWKo7eE02ev-o

Sorry I’m just now getting back to this… I have been snowed under at work…

try posting to pasteall.org it has a special blender file upload feature there…
