wait.... motion graphics??!!

i never knew it was possible… and i can’t even start to guess how is it done…
i found this video… (http://vimeo.com/111906975)
can someone tell me how do they do it?
or a video? cycles? BI?
i am amazed

I would say both Cycles and BI. I would have used BI for it all simply because of the contrast and speed in animating. But, that is just me and there was no glass in there really. Now there is a modifier called ‘Build’ I believe. Get familiar with what that will do and you’re halfway there. Also put a object slightly above a plane then animate the overhead light moving across it for say 75 frames. Maybe you need to get familiar with basic animation on second thought if you haven’t already. Actually, I would say motion graphics is the best project when first starting out with animation. Because it’s a lot of fun compared to some other types of animating. Sounds like Tutorialville for you but YouTube is loaded with decent tutorials along with some timewasters. And, don’t forget all the community sites. (Link below) You can do this.
