VSE Audio and Timeline Mismatch

Hi All.
I’ve been trying to work with a song to create a video, eg. displacement on kicks and camera rotations on melody and stuff like that. I have imported the audio in VSE and cut the portion that I want, snapping it to frame 0.
Timeline is set to AV-sync and Frame Dropping is Enabled as well as Scrubbing.

My problem is that audio seems to dynamically adjust to frames. Meaning that while navigating, scrubbing, and playing the animation, on each play the audio will behave differently and play with different delays. I saw that the sample rate in preferences does contribute to this issue. Yet I have not been able to fix this.

Are you using a video or is it an image sequence. If its a video, your framerate needs to be equal between the video and the scene
