Where are the results from GSOC 14?

But what happened with all this?

Cycles optimization seems to be the only one that really came through? Perhaps? Maybe the remesh? Were there any other success stories from GSOC this year?

The viewport FX branch is worked on by Jason Wilkins and Psy-Fi and officially pushed by Blender foundation.

  • Mantaflow was presented at Blender conf and is regularly being worked on by Roman.
  • Thomas Dinges stuff (Cycles optimizations) is merged.
  • Nurbs guys has been quiet lately. Not an update for 2 months or so, but he seemed eager to finish it up.
  • Quadrilateral remeshin not sure if merged?
  • Mont29 is working on shapekey improvements
  • game engine cleanup done and merged

Please correct me someone if I´m wrong
