Is it possible to easily convert lots of objects to bones and bake motion?

Is it possible to easily convert lots of objects to bones, bake the motion and then weight the object to the equivalent bone. The reason I want to do this is to get a fracture and rigid body simulation into a format I can save and take into unity3d.

hummm that’s an interesting thing…

I can see where that might be usefuling some other animation things too…

I can’t however say I’ve seen anything that can do this however…

I just wonder if one of the programing guys might be able to write a script that can do this…
