..OpenGL noob question..

Hi there
I’m fairly new to Blender, I have basic knowledge in Maya, and I wanted to know if there’s a way to do something similar to playblast (as in Maya) but to keep all the textures in the scene.
What I do now is go to Render > OpenGL Render Animation
but the file that comes out is only the ‘solid’ version and the textures won’t show…

thanks

As its tooltip says, it renders the active viewport. Therefore to see the object textures you will need to be in textured view

thanks, it worked when i changed the view to texture
but when i changed the view to rendered it switches it back to solid…is there a way to render in the rendered view?

is there a way to render in the rendered view?
That’s what the normal render and Animation buttons are for.

thanks!
(did i mentioned that i’m a noob ^^)
