Hi everybody, a very short animation using the same place as my dino scene (one of the winter tree).
I have add some problem with the motion blur, beacause of using autosmooth parameters in order to have hard edges on wings…
Everything made with blender 2.72a & b, just edited with premiere.

the visual style is great but the animation felt a bit static. For that cartoony style some squash and stretch would probably work really great.

Yes animation is not very expressive, because the owl has not been designed to be animated…but I wanted to test motion blur with simple deformed mesh (the wings) and decide to produce this small sequence. I will do better next time!
This looks absolutely fantastic, especially after being amazed by your Dino scene.
