I just visited the blender website this morning and I was greeted by a bunch of adds. These adds make using the blender website more data consuming is there a way to turn them off.
I use to love this website because unlike a lot of other websites it did not have a lot of anoyying pop ups.

Maintaining this site surely costs a lot of effort and money and the ads are propably the only income from this forum. That is why I won’t help you with this problem. Sorry.

What adds? I see none on the blender.org page. For me it looks like:
If you’re seeing something different, it’s on your end. (Try a virus scan. Many virus’ seek to insert adverts on peoples computers in various places. Or try a different web-browser. Perhaps it’s a rogue browser plugin)
