Question: Is there such as a best rendering-engine for 3D cartoon animation? (it should be GPU-based); i don´t know if it is allowed to say here in this blender-forum, but i also have Maya 2015 and 3Ds Max 2015 (so for example: Iray??? But i have heard that this is better for foto-realistic rendering). I appreciate any advice.
You asked your question in the wrong thread. However, the engine is not the problem. It all depends on the specs of your PC or Mac. Take a look at the specs and then compare them on the requirements of the engine.
