Liquid cooled computer

I was wondering if anyone has a liquid cooled computer, and whether it is worth it?
From what I’ve heard it can achieve very significant and effective cooling however I was wondering how tedious/often cleaning or maintaining the system is required?

Otherwise are there any other fan based cooling systems that do a relatively similar job? or even just the most effective case/fan setups that could be used for high end PC’s?

Any links and info would be appreciated!

I have a cpu water cooler. It works good. I often render with the cpu so it runs 100% for a long time. The cooler works very good and is no more maintenance then a fan.

I have a h55

and its awesome !!!
temps are down by 50% plus, noise is down by 70% (want the same for my gpu now  lol )
the rad is pretty big so you need a decent sized case (not them slim things)
I blow mine out every 3 months or so but don’t seem to be as bad as the old heatsink
