First time starting a thread here… hope I’m doing it the right way.
I started modeling a roman imperial army soldier, just for fun, if you have any tips on how to make it better feel free to share. This model still needs a lot of work.
it looks like a good model, but imo his pose should look more natural, especially the spread out fingers. also things seem a bit dark. a little more light would be good. and congratulations on your first thread btw.
The armor looks really shiny, almost like he’s wearing a mirror. Even if the metal was perfectly clean and new, it wouldn’t be that shiny, and if he’s seen some battles in his time, his armor would have scratches and corrosion.
It might also be good to put a light shining on the front of his body because it’s a bit dark.
