Cannot Render Background???

Would someone please take a look at this Blend file and advise me why the background image isn’t rendering. I’m sure I’ve done something wrong, but for the life of me, I can’t figure it out!

You need to render your scene with a transparent background otherwise you are just overlaying the background image with black from your render. You also need to connect the alpha over node output to the composite node otherwise you’re just going to output the render layer output
Look in Render / Film and enable transparent to render the scene with a transparent background
