-How do you cut across , <k>, a NURBS surface across its face?
you can add a loop cut by selecting 2 rows of points then W key and add cut !

This only subdivides. If I want to adjust a non-parallel cut, as I can with <k> across a mesh,
is there something that can go across and around the top or underside of a NURBS surface?

-I want to do something like a loop cut, that will create an edge through the middle of a NURBS
curve, remaining on its curvature.
-Can I do a cut like this, or must I just use a number of smaller NURBS surface as composition?
