Splitting objects into multiple subtools in Zbrush

Hello! Is there a possible way to split an object into separate subtools in Zbrush without affecting the topology or the UV maps? Since the model is extremely dense, I need to split some parts of it into multiple subtools so I can work on them separately without crashing Zbrush.

Look in the Subtool / Split options.
