After going throught the Python course on Blender Cookie I made this fun experimend. After making an array of objects, I used Blender Python to randomly move each object on the Z axis. Then I created a Cycles shader which applies a random color to each object - resulting in the scene you see here. I was a really fun learning experiment, hope you guys like the result.
I like it. It would make a nice wallpaper.
