Deform issues with more than one object on character?

I’m not sure exactly which forum to put this in because I’m having many, many problems with this model. So I’m making this robot character and several parts of it need to be transparent.



I’ve made the transparent things separate objects because sketchfab doesn’t seem to recognize what’s transparent and whats not unless you do this. (I need to use sketchfab for portfolio reasons.) The way I did it before was just have the texture itself have a transparent bit in it and then have my material settings to this:
[ATTACH=CONFIG]340207[/ATTACH]
But I’d rather the objects stay separate anyway because that’s easier to manage. the problem is, when I rigged it the parts come apart awkwardly when I move it, and I want it to deform like its all one object.


I’m also having a problem with it not letting me place a camera to render it?
Please help if you know how I can fix this…
