Test models for a new open-source 3D game engine

Hello Blender Artists!

I’m one of the main developers of a new open-source 3D game engine. Our engine is somewhat unique in that we’re using LuaJIT for almost the entire thing. We’ve been seeing great progress and success on the parts that we can do (the programming side!) so we thought it’s time to invite someone more visually creative to help us out with the rest.

The main purpose of my post is to request a model that I can use not only to test the new skinned and animated 3D model loading/rendering, but to also use in the future as our sort of “signature character” or mascot. It doesn’t need to be very complex but I do ask that it’s at least rigged, UV mapped, and contains at least one keyframed skeletal animation with vertex weights. Polycount doesn’t really matter!

I understand that there’s a lot of work involved in something that one might think would be simple, so I’d be proportionately grateful if someone would lend a hand here!
