Help needed in modeling a tiled landscape

Hi all,
I’ve been over this a lot, and not a lot (none, in fact) of the options were what I need…
So, what do I need?
I’d like to create a landscape, that is tiled, so the game only loads the current tile the player is on and ajacent ones.
So, I need to (either) model one huge plane that I divide into tiled that can be exported as separate collada files with the UV map, or several (duplicated) planes/tiles that I somehow “connect” than when I model a tile, the effect spreads out to the ajacent tile(s)…
ANT may be an option, though I do not know if (and how) to separate/chop-up the result…
I know how to UV edit, how to model and such, there is not the problem, the “tiling” - there is the catch…
I did find one tutorial, but…I’m somewhat confused with this one…it’s somewhat non-structured I’m afraid…
Any ideas would be welcome, thanks
Thor

Solved - found it, pretty simple really…
