Attaching a static bone

Hi,

I was wondering how I can add/attach a new bone to an armature but it doesn’t follow with the rest of the bones position. sort of a player camera so it doesn’t bobble or do any movement when playing animation. I’m using this to export to a game engine from Blender.

When you add a bone to an armature it’s not parented to anything by default, which means it won’t follow the character around. Enter edit mode and shift+a.

Thanks but how do you add a bone without parenting? I’m using extrude to add new bones…

Shift+a adds a new bone.
