Tire simulation

Is there a way to simulate a tire accurately.I need to bend it properly.

what do you mean with “simulating a tire”? Can you post more details?

I want to make a physical experiment and I want simulation environment .And yes I want api python will do.The question is how to make a tire with realistic behavior.

You want the tire to move, to spin, to hit something, to stay in position? You could do it with a soft body simulation, but everything depends on your goal and your objects.

Yes I want to spin but I want to have the properties of rubber .Now with the settings of the soft body the tire have the properties of jell.

If you are talking about how the tire is distorted in contacting the ground, use a lattice deformer.

But then I don’t have any physics.I want a physical model not an animation.

You have to fake it. Blender is not a scientific simulator. Accept that statement first and proceed to create a shot.

Well, to do this type of things your only possibility is a soft body simulation, and if now you have a jelly result just tweak the values until you get a more stiff result.
