New DJV flipbook version 1.0

Probably the best free flipbook gets an update.

Works great on my mac.

May I commend you for you good taste in apps?

Edit: This is probably not only one of the best free flipbook apps but one of the best, period.

Hah ! Awesome. This thing is at least as good as PDPlayer, much thanks to the author.

Nice, thanks for the heads up! I was afraid no new version would come, so this is great news!

We’ve been using the same windows version for at least 5 years… so glad that he hasn’t removed windows support totally

Windows didn’t have version 0.9.0 of djv?

Always good to see development activity in a great app, especially this one that many of us have used for I don’t know how many years. Last version didn’t work with png’s made from a newer libpng, and I never did get the source compiled, so again, great to see a new version - for all platforms

There was no 0.9.0 version of djv for windows.

Version 1.0.3 is out!

Changes since 1.0.0 (from http://djv.sourceforge.net/djvChangeList.html):

  • Fix for LUT issue
  • Fix for 16-bit PNG images
  • Add additional image scales to djv_view (bug #8)
  • Release image file handles when the file cache is enabled (bug #9)
  • Add additional error handling to check whether images are compatible with the version of OpenGL being used (bug #10)
  • Don’t show terminal when launching djv_view on Windows (bug #13)
  • The djv_view icon has an aliased appearance on Windows (bug #14)
  • Add an action for reloading the current frame in djv_view (feature request #12)
  • Add an action to toggle playback in djv_view (feature request #16)
  • Shortcuts not working for Window Show Bars (bug #17)
  • Hide controls when going full screen (bug #19)
  • File names with very large numbers are causing a crash (bug #20)
  • Add file type associations (feature request #17 #18 #22)
  • Add time/frame ticks to the djv_view timeline (feature request #21)

Actually jefecheck is the best free flipbook I am aware of. http://jefecheck.jefecorp.com
