I was looking for a renderer that supports my AMD GPU and I found Lux Render. The plugins are for Blender 2.6 but why haven’t they updated it for 2.7? Perhaps those plugins work with 2.7 as well?
As far as I know, there are not many working external renders for Blender 2.71, at least not since I tried to get LuxRender a few weeks ago. I have success with LuxRender and Yafaray in Blender 2.70a (not sure if they actually work or not, as I haven’t even attempted to learn how to use them yet!)
But as far as I know, (which isn’t a whole lot) that LuxRender should work in Blender 2.70a
That is bad news. I regret buying an AMD GPU instead of an Nvidia.
LuxRender 1.4RC1 works perfectly fine with Blender 2.72, I suggest you download it
