This is my last work in blender - short promotional video made with blender and rendered in octane.

Render times: around 2 min - 3 min on GTX 680.
Kernel: Direct light with AO.
Samples: 300 - 500.
Specular depth: 4, glossy depth: 4, AO dist: 20, diffuse depth: 2.
How are you getting your lens flares in the beginning?

The areas in the sun work really well, however, the more interior room gets a bit flat in the lighting. It could use a bit of contrast to separate the image a little better. Using warm and cool colors as a composition element could help that a lot. I’m not seeing the types of soft shadow that would be present in a room like that. Are you using AO? Some small tweaks could really make this shine! Very nice work as is though.
