Promotional animation

Hi all,
This is my last work in blender - short promotional video made with blender and rendered in octane.

Hope you like it.

Rendered in octane for blender.
Render times: around 2 min - 3 min on GTX 680.
Kernel: Direct light with AO.
Samples: 300 - 500.
Specular depth: 4, glossy depth: 4, AO dist: 20, diffuse depth: 2.

How are you getting your lens flares in the beginning?

I like your work there! If you’re open to critiques…

The areas in the sun work really well, however, the more interior room gets a bit flat in the lighting. It could use a bit of contrast to separate the image a little better. Using warm and cool colors as a composition element could help that a lot. I’m not seeing the types of soft shadow that would be present in a room like that. Are you using AO? Some small tweaks could really make this shine! Very nice work as is though.

How are you getting your lens flares in the beginning?

The flares are made as a postproduction in Hitfilm demo version and with the octane postpro as well.
Yes, I used AO.

Unrolling paper was made by using a curve modifier and by moving and animate curve.
