I’m doing an animation using an HDR image as background and would like to know if its possible to animate the HDR (rotate it) to simulate the effect of moving clouds… its a small animation of 5s and the camera is moving slowly, so the rotation of the HDR should do it.

You could animate the mapping along the Z axis, but then the sun/hotspot will move with it and screw the shadows a tad.
