Explosions in BGE (for tank game)?

Does anyone know how to make a 3d explosion? I really need it.

Thanks. That isn’t exactly what I want… But I can edit it a bit and it should work.

Its an old tutorial and doesn’t really take optimization into account. This slightly newer tutorial (the smaller explosion) is a little bit more optimized and might also be closer to an impact from a tank shell.
