Y-Mirror

Hello all,

I am using the x-mirror checkbox in the mesh options tab, but I am unable to find the same option for y-axis mirror. I have some vertices and line directly on the y-axis, and they will not edit equally. I can only move one at a time. I guess I could rotate the model 90 degrees to see if that works. I was just wondering if there was a similar function for the y-axis. Any help is appreciated.

No, there’s no such a thing, if you don’t want to rotate the whole mesh you can try to use a Mirror modifier with the axis set to Y instead, but you’ll have then to delete the half of the mesh that is on the other side of the Y axis you want to use (remember the Origin point is the center of the mirror/symmetry so move it to exactly where you need)
