Kinect 2 FBX Mocap into Blender

Hey everyone I’m trying to figure out a how to import a fbx file from brekel pro body 2 into blender but once I turned the fbx into binary and import, it comes in as a single bone with none of the mocap data on it. Has anyone been able to use fbx animations in blender?

Brekel 2 doesn’t have a BVH exporter and I don’t think they will so fbx is the only way I see brekel and blender can work together right now.

For context I’m trying to find a workflow from Brekel=> Blender => Unreal Engine 4 for game development.

I heard that we might be getting a new blender build with a legitimate fbx importer but I can’t seem to find any recent news on that subject. Does anyone have any experience with fbx animations into blender?

I’d just like to hear if there are any news about this?
