Local move similar to Silo?

In Silo, as soon as you extrude, it activates the local move tool. It allows you to move the new faces like you see below, in an equidistant manner. Not sure how to explain it. From the Nevercener site: “The Local Move tool will move each element of your selection (vertices, edges, or faces) along its individual normal vector.” Is this possible in blender?

There’s 2 commands that have a very similar algorithm. They are both kind of like LocalMove in Silo, but neither of them is actually as good as Local Move.

Push/Pull
Shribk/Flatten

You can find them in the Tools Tab.
Either find if they have hotkeys, or make some for both of them.

What’s the difference between LocalMove in S3D and Blender’s GZZ if Normal is selected as a Transform Orientation (instead of default Global)?

Thanks for the replies. I tried shrink and flatten and got lucky. It worked exactly for what I wanted (after extruding). I can’t seem to make the image bigger.
