Blender NEW CYCLES FREESTYLE NODE

Hello Guys,

I found out that Blender Cycles doesnt have a Freestyle Node for Cartoony renderings.
So i decided to make a Node by my own for the Compositer. TUTORIAL and DOWNLOAD are available

Please leave a comment and tell me if you find it useful

For freestyle rendering with cycles you can download the latest build from https://builder.blender.org/download/

Damn it ! But at least you have a little Node which can handle simple cartoony effects

Great!
However, to use both BI and cycles and compositor was never a real issue.
The real issue is: Is cycles able to produce appropriate toon shading under any lighting conditions? This is the question.
On the other hand it will be a fine tool for architectural vis renders.

thank you

Brilliant! Hope to see more uses of Cycles and NPR soon

Would be nice if cycles have a Ligth Direction and Position Vector Nodes, this way we can do custom shaders with Nodes.

[off topic] Duplicated Post, Sorry [off topic]

I still don’t think it is. Some people were able to do some good OSL scripts but natively? Nope. Their built-in toon shader is horrible and has almost no characteristic of proper toon shading.
