Only the castle, the water, the hill and the ghost were made in Blender (rendered in Blender). Editting was done in Gimp.

So it’s been a while since i did the weekend contest. It’s been a little bit since i’ve done much in Blender in general since i got a job.
So i decided to come back this week to sort of get myself going again. Of course this week’s topic happened to be the one topic i’ve ever wanted lol.
I only wish i was as enthusiastic as i use to be :frowning: i got a little burnt out in the end and decided to put the armor up on a stand for sale lol.
Anyway i guess i’m just glad i’m workin my way back :slight_smile:

Cycles. For posterity I’ll post a snapshot of the displacment map I sketched with a sharpie while binge watching Boardwalk Empire earlier today. Just so you don’t think I modeled a wine glass and used some clip art. Which I have done before, just not this time. :wink:

Text comes from the Project Gutenberg etext of Sir Thomas Malory’s Le Morte d’Arthur, Vol 2., a text about King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, and their quests for Holy Grail (Sangreal).

Some rushed modeling and no time to work on textures, had fun with it though and also rendered the model with a custom matcap texture (looks not to bad).

Not sure if this counts, but I used a sketchup + blender-cycles workflow for this one.
