Hello forums, I’m new to Blender, using 2.49 for specific plugin. Is there an option to make the view behave like in Max so it does not rotate in all 3 axis with mouse movement and just goes up/down and turns left/right, no banking? it really gives me hard time. 
In user preferences change the rotation from Trackball to Turntable
