I have recently been experimenting with doing certain things that are essential for most things. one of these thing are trees. So here is a test render of a tree.
not bad. looks fake though. like a model train set diorama tree. are you using a texture for the leaves or is that something else? looks like fluff. also need some bark texture. you can fake bark texture by layering some rough concrete images with grunge and color layers till you get a nice grungy pitted looking image. or just download/photograph some real bark and use that… haha.
