I want to make background graphics for a game

I’m a total beginner and know nothing about 3D art or art in general, lol.

But I really want to make a point-and-click adventure game in the style of the old classics (syberia, myst, etc) and to do that, I need graphics.

I’m not even sure Blender is the best software for me (if it isn’t, please give me other suggestions) but can someone point me in the right direction of how I can start learning and creating graphics for my games? Give an overview of the process and point me to some tutorials? I want this to be as easy as possible with me having to do as little art as possible, lol

Basically in my game, I want the player to be able to approach a Georgian Colonial house and then walk around inside it. I have a floor plan and know how I want the rooms to be furnished. I just have to actually make 3D graphics for it.

Is there an particular reason for needing 3D graphics if it’s a point-and-click game? My past experience with point-and-click has almost solidly been 2D; King’s Quest (1-7), Quest for Glory (1-5), Simon the Sorcerer (1,2 & 4) and Little Divil to name a few (of which, only QfG 5 and StS 4 were 3D).

As for software suggestions, Adventure Game Studio is probably the best know point-and-click game making program. There’s no reason why you couldn’t make a point-and-click game in Blender, but as you’re looking for a solution with the smallest learning curve, AGS may be a better solution for you.

As for tutorials for Blender (to name a few places) :
