UV Problems

Hi, I’m brand new here and have been learning Blender for about two months. Right now I’m trying to make a very basic house as a set piece (basically a rectangular prism on the bottom and a triangular prism on top) and I’m marking the seams and unwrapping but the in the UV editor all faces are showing up equal in size when 4 should be rectangle and 2 should be squares.

Any idea what might be happening?

Sounds like you are pressing ‘U’ then choosing ‘Lightmap Pack’.

Apply (Control-A) your object level scaling.
