Keep UV and Edit Mode Mesh Selection in Sync

Hey,

is it possible to be in “Keep UV and Edit Mode Mesh Selection in Sync”-Mode and still select just single UV points in the UV Editor without having the connected uv’s selected as well (which happens along the UV Seams)?
So if I make a selection in the 3d view I’d like this seletion to be reflected in the uv window and if i make a selection in the UV Editor I just want the single element to be selected.

but if you select a uv along the seam blender will select the connected uvs as well in this mode
