How you can create a smoke effect ?

Hey !

This will be a weird question but does anyone known how you can create a smoke effect in blender 2.70 ? because well l’m a still a beginner with Blender and l can’t figure out how you can create smoke effect and by smoke l mean well l’m working on a halloween postcard cover and to finnish the cover l need to create a smoke effect and l can’t figurout how you can create it

Quickest option.
Select default cube
Using the Object menu, select ‘Object / Quick Effects / Quick Smoke’
Press Alt+A to start the simulation
