Change in the net?

A change in the fabric of the net?

Researchers at Aalborg University, MIT and Caltech have developed a new mathematically-based technique that can boost internet data speeds by up to 10 times, by making the nodes of a network much smarter and more adaptable. The advance also vastly improves the security of data transmissions, and could find its way into 5G mobile networks, satellite communications and the Internet of Things

I have spoke of freeing the net… I hope this is incentive,

Remember that raw speed is half of the story, the other half is bandwidth capacity and server space, your favorite sites won’t work if server space is lacking and there’s not much means to get data into and out of them.

Party pooper. :frowning:

with all optical or hybrid optical, we can “feed the need” of data.

and then there is this

Baiscally the faster the net gets, the slower it gets, as users download bigger and bigger files include HDMI and other larger “gigabyte” applications like games and for sure the obvious - movies, and TV series.
