I wanted to upload an image to the WiP board but it failed repeatedly. I have uploaded images before with no problem, the only difference were size and possibly jpg/png.
I am using Firefox 31 with Beta updates.

Have you tried a test file with lower size ?
You could just put it on a image host site and insert the link to its url
