Quick render options (wireframe, others?)

All,

I’m looking for some options for a quick render of an animation. I need to show a client the motion before I do the full render. Its 1950 frames, so lower samples still won’t be “quick”. I know you can do a wireframe, but this is a bit difficult to look at; the scene has a lot of objects. Is there a way to do what you see as the solid view, or the material view in the view port?

Thanks!!

Jay

Yep. Set the view how you want it then select “OpenGL Render Animation” from the render menu (up top, in the info bar). You can also click the clapboard button at the bottom right of the 3D view, it does the same thing.

To add to that, if you just want the size of the viewport choose an orthographic view. If you OpenGL render the viewport with the active camera selected, however, you inherit the render settings for the scene.
